0:18 I have a question about Tibetan Buddhism. I have been practicing mostly what I would consider Theravada Buddhism as it is the form of Buddhism I have felt most connected to thus far. I am however starting to look into Tibetan/Vajrayana Buddhism as I have started attending my Tibetan Buddhist center, which mostly just does group meditations with the occasional empowerment and teaching. My question is what would your advice be to someone starting out in Tibetan Buddhism, and also how does one go about finding a teacher since that is necessary to practice Vajrayana practices? And also is a teacher the same as a guru?
