Gross agitation is when your mind is very distracted (usually by your thoughts) and it’s not able to concentrate on your meditation object. It is the main obstacle you will face in the first four stages of the Nine Stages of Calm Abiding. In this video, I share various techniques on how you can overcome gross agitation so you can achieve greater stability and concentration in your meditation.
