The Nine Stages of Calm Abiding – Stage Three
The Nine Stages of Calm Abiding are inspirational teachings that show us what we can achieve in meditation with a little bit of consistency and effort. Once you reach the third stage of the Nine Stages, there are some significant changes you will start to experience. Most notably, your relationship with your thoughts will begin to change. Because of your increasing mindfulness, instead of the usual conflict with your thoughts, you’ll start to see your thoughts more clearly. And with this new awareness and understanding of your thoughts, they will slowly abate and give way to more calmness.
