While Mahayana Buddhism didn’t seem to come into prominence until a few hundred years after the Buddha’s passing, Mahayana Buddhists now make up the majority of Buddhist practitioners living in the world today. In this video, I take a look at some of the unique characteristics of Mahayana Buddhism that may have contributed to its popularity.
