How to Practice Right Speech
Our words have the power to heal or harm. Every time we speak, we have the power to shape our environment into one of love and understanding or impatience and disharmony. Aware of the effect of our words, the Buddha made the practice of Right Speech an important training on the path to enlightenment. What we choose to say, or not say, and when, are all factors that tie into practicing mindfulness and Right Speech.
In this video, I share which types of speech the Buddha encouraged us to speak and under what circumstances, as well as, what kind of speech he advised is better to refrain from.
